Idia Okundaye-Akanbi – Chief Operating Officer

Idia Okundaye-Akanbi is the Chief Operating Officer of Cyber234. Idia is a graduate of the University of Lagos where she obtained a BA degree in Philosophy. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Sunderland, where she obtained the Faculty of Law and Business CSR Award. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in the United Kingdom.

Idia began her career at Legwork Limited in 2005, where she worked for two years after which she moved to the United Kingdom – and joined retail giant Marks and Spencer as Client Services Advisor and subsequently moved to the Human Resources Department working as a training officer. In 2012, she joined Geometric Power Ltd. where she was Head Human Resources and Administration. She joined The Daisy Management Centre Limited in 2014 where she worked as Team lead, for the Consulting and HR Support arm of the firm. Idia is currently Head of HR and Administration for Lexcel Group limited where she oversees HR Strategy and Operations for the Drinks Group.

Idia is skilled in project management, customer management, strategy & planning, reporting (administration and operations), data analysis. She has a vast knowledge of team management in multicultural environments. In October 2014 she attended the Psychometric Certification Course in the UK at Psytech International and has qualified for the Psytech Testing Certificate allowing her access to the use of all their instruments.


Musa Abubakar Muhammad, PhD, MSc, CEH, ECSA, CHFI – Chief Forensic Investigation Adviser

Musa Abubakar Muhammad is the Chief Forensic Investigation Adviser of Cyber234. He holds a PhD from De Monfort University, United Kingdom, an MSc in Information Systems from Stratford University, United States, an MSc in Computer and Network Forensics from University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, a BSc from Middlesex University, United Kingdom.

Musa is a Certified Ethical Hacker, an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst, a Penetration Tester, and a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator with several years of industry and academic experiences. Other professional qualifications obtained by Musa include Web application security testing, Advanced penetration testing,  Security +, Network +, Linux +, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Microsoft Server Administration.

Musa is a strong cybersecurity and forensic professional skilled in network penetration testing, cyber and network security, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, malware analysis, and web application security testing. Musa is a member of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE), British Computer Society (BCS), and Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), as well as a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA).


Dong Yuan, PhD, MEng – Chief Cybersecurity Adviser

Dong Yuan is the Chief Cybersecurity Adviser of Cyber234 and a highly experienced cybersecurity expert with hands-on experience and proven track record in cybersecurity education and technology development. Dong holds a PhD from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and an MEng degree from Shandong University, Jinan, China.

With numerous awards and accomplishments in cybersecurity, software engineering, and distributed computing, Dong has played significant roles in cybersecurity advancements in several start-ups and multi-national organisations worldwide.

As a co-inventor of two cybersecurity patents, Dong is an associate editor, guest editor, session chair, journal reviewers, and conference program committee member several ERA rank A journals and conferences. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).


Nadia Anam, PhD, MSc – Chief Cybersecurity Education Adviser

Nadia Anam is the Chief Cybersecurity Education Adviser of Cyber234. Nadia holds a PhD from the University of Sydney, Australia, and an MSc and a BSc from American International University, Bangladesh. With several high-quality renowed publications and awards, Nadia is a cybersecurity education enthusiast with a demonstrated history of detecting anomalies in smart environements.

Nadia is a strong educational professional skilled in embedded systems, signal processing, frequency spectrum, microwave and optical frequencies, robotics, and designing secure systems.

As an assistant professor and active researcher, Nadia has many years of progressive experience in research, teaching, learning, and development ascross the academia and industry, as well as in-depth knowledge of local and international best practices, standards, frameworks, and maturity models in cybersecurity. Nadia is member of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE) with an awarded IEEE grant.


Abbas Y. Yerima, MSc, BSc – Chief Computer and Network Security Adviser

Abbas is the Chief Computer and Network Security Adviser of Cyber234 and a Professional Network Security Specialist with strong security control skills and experience in maintaining security of networks and cyber services.

Abbas holds an MSc in Computer Science from Lincoln University, United Kingdom, an MSc in Computer and Network Security from Middlesex University, United Kingdom, and several IT and network certifications with a proven track record in network secuirty management.

As a certified IT/cybersecurity specialist, Abbas has many years of progressive hands-on experience in IT, communications, network security, and physical security practice, as well as in-depth knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and guidelines such as NIST CSF, GDPR, NDPR,  ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and OWASP.


Soliu Lawal, MSc, BSc – Chief Marketing Officer

Soliu Lawal is the Chief Marketing Officer of Cyber234 and a proven marketing expert with 10+ years of experience across all domains of data and marketing research. He has held senior leadership roles at a wide range of successful companies, from multi-million-pounds organizations to start-up companies. At Cyber234, Soliu is responsible for marketing strategy and execution.

Soliu holds an MSc in Business Information Technology from Middlesex University, United Kingdom, and is an experienced Business Analyst with a demonstrated history of utilizing data to inform business changes and an Information system specialist with a strong background in complex database application support, development and analytics, mostly with SQL ERP and CRM software in various sectors. He has experience in product management, data processing and analysis, managing marketing data, and market research.

Soliu is a strong information technology professional skilled in analytics, business intelligence, relational databases, data warehousing, project management, and operational and financial process developments.


Mubarak Y. Danbatta, MBA, BSc, CNA – Financial Adviser

Mubarak Yusuf is the Financial Adviser of Cyber234 and a Professional Accountant with strong analytical skills and experience in establishing and maintaining accurate financial records.

Mubarak holds an MBA in Finance, a BSc in Accounting, and a Certified National Accountant (CNA) certificate with a proven track record in Financial Systems.

As a certified accountant, Mubarak has many years of progressive experience in accuracy, results, and detail-oriented and multi-functional accounting practice as well as in-depth knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS).


Anas Abubakar Bisu, PhD, MEng, MSc, FHEA – Chief Cyber Risk Adviser

Anas Abubakar Bisu is the Chief Cyber Risk Adviser of Cyber234 and a risk management and engineering expert with both academics and industry experience. He holds a PhD from Durham University, United Kingdom, an MEng from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, and an MSc and a First-Class BSc from Bayero University, Nigeria. He has received several professional training from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and the European Space Agency (ESA).

With several years of industry and academic experience in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Nigeria, Anas has served in various capacities in several University committees such as the IT management committee at Durham University, United Kingdom. He was a member of Durham University Venture School and has won several awards including IEEE best track paper award, UK Research and Innovation Global Challenge Research Fund (UKRI-GCRF) Grants, and European Union Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (EUH2020-MSCA) Grant. He was a Network and System Engineer at ALCATEL LUCENT Technology in Nigeria, as well as an Innovation Fellow at the Hellenic Telecoms Organization (OTE) in Greece. Anas is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), now Advanced HE, United Kingdom, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (MIEEE), a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), a member of the Marie-Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (MACM).

Anas holds professional certifications from reputable institutions including IEEE (5G, Blockchain Technology, Edge Computing, IoT, HTS, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, etc.), Mathworks (Programming and data processing/visualisation), and Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) with the ability, skills, and competence to design, analyse, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot cyber networks. He has published several research papers and conferences proceedings in reputable journals and conferences across the world.


Bernard Ikhimwin, PhD, MSc – Chief Cyber Quantitative Adviser

Bernard Ikhimwin is the Chief Cyber Quantitative Adviser of Cyber234 with in-depth knowledge in mathematical modelling, data science, data visualisation, risk management, dynamical system, and regression modelling. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Sydney, Australia, an MSc in Industrial Mathematical Modelling (Distinction) from Loughborough University, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Mathematics (First Class) from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He has received several awards and recognitions in building mathematical models and quantifying risks across Australia, Nigeria, and United States.

Bernard is a researcher and quantitative specialist with practical and theoretical skills in analysing and proffering solutions to complex problems. He adapts quickly to novel solutions and rapid changes in the cyber world and takes ownership of issues and blossoms in an environment of accountability.

With several years of practical experience, Bernard has given several talks at conferences and universities across the United States, Europe, and Australia. He has designed several multivariable calculus and modelling solutions for critical infrastructure sectors. He has several publications in top-quality journals and conferences across the world.


Habila Ayakpat, PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, SFC, SSYBC – Chief Business Engagement and Transformation Adviser

Habila Ayakpat is the Chief Business Engagement and Transformation Adviser of Cyber234 and a solution’s-oriented technology professional adept in delivering cyber transformation projects aligned to organizations strategy, product line vision, goals, and business value.

With several industry leading certifications, Habila holds a BSc in Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria and has 10+ years of solutions delivery experience from Fortune 500 consumer goods organizations with expertise in ERP projects and enhancing business processes for Financial Operations, Sales & distribution, Accounting (AP, AR, GL). Core skills include gathering, translating, and documenting business requirements, solution design and integration, business process engineering, automation, project management and Agile.

Habila is an organizational influencer with sound ability to direct and motivate cross-functional teams, build partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, as well as present ideas and key findings.
