FUNCTIONS: We are looking for cybersecurity instructor/education specialists for our cybersecurity team. As a cybersecurity instructor/education specialist, you will be a part of our intelligent and growing team of cybersecurity professionals helping our clients learn how to protect their organisations against existing, emerging, and advanced cyber-attacks and attackers. You will work on a variety of projects performed at our cybersecurity centre or client location. Your role within our team will focus on advisory, instructing, support development of security solutions, and helping clients and students enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and capabilities. You will determine your training program in consultation with your manager. We offer a wide variety of internal training as well as frequently chosen training such as CISM, CISSP, Security +, TOGAF, PRINCE2, PMP, and ITIL.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in education, IT environment, consulting, or advisory
• Proficiency in cybersecurity, information security, or computer security
• Experience in cybersecurity learning and development including teaching technical topics
• Experience in conducting or managing incident response, incident remediation, and investigating targeted threats such as Hacktivists and Advanced Persistent Threat
• Experience in cybersecurity intelligence via conducting threat analysis and using analytic models to produce technical results
• Knowledge in computer forensic and network forensic using simulations and tools
• Proficiency in designing secure network architecture and analysing logs
• Effective communication and simplification of complicated topics, reviews, and findings
• Experience in explaining “how” and “why” on cybersecurity and transformation
• Lead courses on cybersecurity including incident management, forensics, and compliance
• Manage training and course delivery, as well as effective use of distance learning technology
• Create, review, and enhance cybersecurity course materials (technical and non-technical)
• Experience in learning management systems, as well as managing courses and materials
• Act as a subject matter expert and promote education services
• Produce cybersecurity education newsletter – learning and development
• Produce top-level written and verbal reports, presentations, findings, and recommendations
• Coding experience in C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Perl, and/or C#.
• Experience in cybersecurity tools and preparing readme-based documents
• Knowledge in emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, AI, Big data, and Quantum Computing
• Knowledge in security practices such as OWASP, NIST CSF, COBIT, CIS, etc.
• Knowledge in cybersecurity regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, NGPR, etc.
• Experience in security technologies and analytics, and virtualization technology
• Strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in cybersecurity maturity assessment
• Create actionable plans to grow and maintain clients and enhance collaborations
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), as well as articulating complex technical issues to the cybersecurity team
• Demonstrated teaching and research excellence, as well as a strong team player and ability to coordinate with other teams and instances
• Ability to work under pressure of time and ambition for self-development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A tertiary qualification (preferably technology). PhD qualification and track record in cybersecurity research and publications are added advantages.
• Industry certifications like CISM, CISSP, CEH, Security +, TOGAF, ITIL, PRINCE2, AWS, Azure, PMP, and GCP security are added advantages.
• Solution level certifications such as Microsoft technologies and cloud certifications are added advantages.
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors is an added advantage – Education, IT, Telecoms, Banking & Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Government, Retail, and Aviation.
